Hoover, AL : A woman crashed into a tree on Sunday, June 4, 2017

Hoover Police Investigators are looking into why a woman crashed into a tree, leading to her death.

According to a news release from Hoover Police, the wreck happened about 1:50pm Sunday on Hugh Daniel Drive, between North Lake Drive and Farmhouse Way.

The driver was the only person in the car and was declared dead at the scene.

The driver's identification has not been released at this time.
