Smyrna ,GA : 10-year-old boy killed in crash after truck and an SUV collided along Nashville Highway on Tuesday evening ,April 21 2015
Officials have released the name of the 10-year-old boy who was killed in a wreck in Smyrna.
A truck and an SUV collided at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Old Nashville Highway at Rocky Fork Road, causing the SUV to flip.
The child, identified as Joseph Earls, was in the car with his mother, Susan Sensing; his stepfather, David Wilson; and his brother, William Earls. Sensing was driving the vehicle.
Joseph Earls was ejected from the SUV and pronounced dead at Stonecrest Medical Center. His three other family members were injured in the crash.
Police say it appears neither child was wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the truck, Luis Hernandez, was not injured. He was arrested for driving without a license.
