Officials are investigating a deadly rollover accident in Terry.

Neighbors told the Hinds County Sheriffs Office they heard the accident between 2 and 4 a.m. Friday on Highway 51, but it wasn't actually reported until 1:20p.m. Friday.

Several family members were at the scene of the wreck to meet with Hinds County Sheriff Deputies.

One woman told us her grandson, 24-year-old Deonte Jermain Green, was the man who died in the crash.

She said she had nothing more to say about the accident.

Major Pete Luke says Green lost control of his Infinity and rolled over, eventually crashing into the trees on Highway 51, ripping off the back portion of the car.

The scene of the accident wasn't cleared up until about 4:30 p.m., almost 12 hours after it happened.

The crash only involved one vehicle, so there were no other injuries in the accident.
