Bakersfield, CA : One dead in crash north of Arvin on Friday, 16th September 2016

One person died late Friday and at least two others suffered major injuries in a single-vehicle accident north of Arvin.

The crash, at Malaga Road and Buena Vista Boulevard, happened at around 11 p.m. Friday, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Jobinger.

The vehicle, a white, four-door Honda Accord sedan, "went off the roadway," Jobinger said.

No further information was available as of Sunday afternoon and neither the CHP nor the Kern County Coroner's Office had issued news releases on the incident.
