A Callaway woman was injured in a two-car crash Wednesday afternoon on Highway 59 in Callaway Township.
Lavonne Ione Molacek, 61, was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary's for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the other vehicle, Benjamin Andrew Reed, 40, of Fergus Falls, was not injured.
Reed was driving a 2015 GMC Yukon pulling a boat, and Molacek was driving a 2016 Ford Fusion, Both were northbound on Highway 59 near County Road 14.
The Yukon pulled out to pass the Fusion, while the Fusion was going to make a left-hand turn. The Fusion hit the boat and trailer, knocking the boat off the trailer. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.The accident was reported at 3:31 p.m. on dry pavement. The Becker County Sheriff's Office and White Earth Tribal Police Department assisted at the scene.
