Longmont,CO: No injuries reported in school bus crash on August, Monday 7th 2017

A school bus with 34 elementary-aged children on board drove into a ditch in the 8000 block of Hygiene Road west of Longmont on Monday, Colorado State Patrol Nate Reid said.

Reid said the crash was reported at 12:10 p.m. Monday in front of Aspen Moon Farm, 8020 Hygiene Road. He said the bus was westbound when it made a right turn into a driveway for a field trip.

"The right rear tire of the vehicle went into the ditch and the right bottom side of the bus collided with a large rock," he said.

There were no injuries and there was no citation issued to the 57-year-old female driver.

A tow truck was on scene by 12:50 p.m., Reid said
