Bakersfield,CA : Motorcyclist dies after crashing into wire on June, Tuesday 20th 2017

A 24-year-old man died after driving into a guy-wire supporting a power pole late Friday, authorities said.

Brandon Clark, of Bakersfield, was pronounced dead at Kern Medical Center about 45 minutes after crashing into the wires at 11:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Willow Drive, according to a coroner's release.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Clark was driving a Kawasaki KDX200, which was reported stolen, in the park east of the Riverview Community Center. He was heading south when he slammed into the guy-wire with his chest.

It's unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved, the CHP said.
