Austin, MN : Three people were seriously injured in a crash on Monday early morning August 25th 2014

Three people were seriously injured Monday in a crash just north of Austin. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 17-year-old Zachary Slowinski, of Blooming Prairie, was in a disabled car in the middle of Minnesota Highway 218 at 5:25 a.m. after a minor crash that caused no injuries. While stopped in the middle of the road, Slowinski's car was struck by a car driven by Princess Meeks, 28, of Byron. Slowinski and Meeks both suffered serious injuries and were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System — Austin for treatment. A passenger in Meeks' car, Shannon Irons, 36, of Dexter, was also seriously injured. Condition reports were not available this morning. Source : 3 seriously injured in crash near Austin
