Milo, NY : woman charged after accident that killed one, Friday on July 18, 2014
A 26-year-old woman is facing manslaughter and drunken driving charges after an accident in the Finger Lakes that left one person dead.
State police say Sabrina Livermore of Rome was driving in the Yates County town of Milo when she lost control and hit two other vehicles Friday.
A passenger in one of the other vehicles, 55-year-old Roxan Meier of Dundee, died at the scene.
The other drivers were injured, as were three passengers riding with Livermore. Police say none of the injuries is life-threatening.
They say Livermore, who was treated for minor injuries, was charged with second-degree manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
Court officials weren't available to say if she entered a plea at her arraignment or has a lawyer.
Milo is 48 miles southeast of Rochester.
