ORLANDO, FL : Deadly crash claims two lives, injures five on South Orange Blossom Trail near 41st Street on Wednesday, 3rd July 2019

The Fourth of July holiday began on a deadly note in Orange County after two related crashes claimed two lives and injured five people, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Shortly after 3 a.m. a vehicle was traveling northbound on South Orange Blossom Trail near 41st Street when it struck a pedestrian crossing the street after that driver had pulled a U-turn on the roadway, according to authorities.FHP said after the driver hit the pedestrian, that vehicle, a red SUV, then crashed into a building. That vehicle's driver remained at the scene.
