Two drivers from Arkansas were killed in a head-on crash early Friday, state police say.

According to a preliminary crash report, 29-year-old Laderick D. Franklin was driving east on U.S. 82 east of Texarkana when his 2012 Jeep Compass crossed the highway's centerline shortly before 12:30 a.m. and struck a westbound 1996 Chevrolet S-10 head-on.
