CALION, AR : A two-vehicle accident on Saturday, November, 18th 2017

Traffic on US Highway 167 was backed up after a two-vehicle accident resulting in an injury Saturday morning.

Arkansas State Police responded to the accident on US Highway at 9:31 a.m, approximately 10 minutes after the collision occurred, Arkansas State Trooper Wade Schanzlin said.

“We’re probably out there for at least 45 minutes before we finally got the wreakage cleared up. We had one lane open for a little bit,” he said.

A Ford F-150 traveling southbound on the highway drove left of center striking another F-150. An injured party was transported by Pro-Med Ambulance to the Medical Center of South Arkansas, Schanzlin said.
