STARK COUNTY, OH ; Canton man dies in weekend dirt bike crash on Sunday, 18th August 2024

A 20-year-old Canton man, identified as Dakota Stach, has died following a weekend dirt bike crash in Stark County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 10:03 p.m. Sunday on Marietta Avenue SE in Canton Township.

Stach was driving a 2006 Yamaha YZ250 northbound “when it traveled off the right side of the road,” striking a mailbox and a utility pole, according to a press release.
