INDIANAPOLIS, IN : Girl avoids injury after car crashes into Indianapolis home on Thursday, 26th July 2018

The Indianapolis Fire Department says a 15-year-girl avoided injury after a motor vehicle crashed into her home and pinned her between a wall and a kitchen table.

It says firefighters had to extract the girl following the crash Thursday afternoon on the city’s far east side.

Investigators say a driver missed her turn and drove into the home, causing an estimated $50,000 in damages.

WISH-TV reports the crash has displaced a family of five.
