Monett, MO : A Sarcoxie woman was injured in a wreck on Saturday, August 19, 2017

A Sarcoxie woman was injured Saturday in a wreck at 9:10 a.m. on Farm Road 1010, four miles east of Sarcoxie.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brittaney McLaughlin, 27, of Sarcoxie, was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee northbound when her vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

McLaughlin suffered moderate injuries an was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Se was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
