Two women were killed Friday when their vehicles collided head-on on Route 711 near Donegal in Westmoreland County.
Westmoreland County Deputy Coroner Joshua Zapone identified the victims as Shari L. Kohan, 47, of Lower Yoder Township in Cambria County, and Gloria J. Randall, 75, of Mount Pleasant.
Ms. Kohan was driving on Route 711 when for an unknown reason she crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and hit Ms. Randall’s SUV, the coroner said.
Speed was believed to be a factor in the crash, which occurred shortly before 3 p.m., according to the coroner.
