Miami County, IN : Goshen woman dies in morning crash on Wednesday, 14th November 2018

A Goshen woman was killed in a one-car crash this morning in Miami County, Indiana State Police said.

About 9;23 a.m., Indiana State Troopers and the Miami County Sheriff's Department responded to a crash on U.S. 31 south of Sease Drive, state police at Peru said in a statement.

The statement said investigators believe Rebecca Easton, 60, of Goshen, was driving south on U.S. 31 but may have been going too fast for the slick road conditions and lost control of her car.

The car went off the west side of the road and hit an embankment, rolling at least once, police said.

Easton, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, died at the scene.
