Jacksonville, FL : Man died in fatal motorcycle crash on Argyle Forest Boulevard on Wednesday night, Sep 2, 2015

A man riding a motorcycle is dead after he hit a car on the Westside Wednesday evening.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said two motorcycles were traveling east on Argyle Forest Boulevard. One motorcycle made a left turn in front of a car on Bishopwood Drive, and then the second motorcycle made a left turn but struck the rear of a Dodge Charger.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said a man in his mid to late 20s died on scene.

Police said both motorcyclists were driving at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the Dodge Charger is cooperating, according to JSO.

Traffic Homicide responded and are interviewing witnesses.

Since it is still early in the investigation, it’s unknown if charges will be filed.

All eastbound lanes of Argyle Forest Boulevard were closed while police investigated.
