Bremer County, IL : One killed, one hurt in Bremer County crash on Sunday, 9th June 2019

One person is dead, and another is hurt after a late-night crash in Bremer County.

Iowa State Patrol says 75-year-old Larry Goodwin, of Fredricksburg was driving west on Highway 93 around 9:30 p.m., when he crossed the center line.

Authorities say Goodwin’s truck went into a ditch, before hitting an embankment on Lifeline Drive.

Then, the truck went airborn, landing in the Sumner Dollar General parking lot. It rolled several times before coming to a stop at a light pole.

Goodwin’s passenger, 67-year-old Audrey Goodwin was taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo by Gunderson Aircare.

Larry Goodwin died; authorities say he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
