HAMILTON COUNTY, IN : Police in Hamilton County investigating serious overnight crash at U.S. 31 and State Road 19 on East 225th Street on Friday, 8th February 2019

A man died in a car crash in Hamilton County overnight.

The wreck happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday between U.S. 31 and State Road 19 on East 225th Street.

A 1998 silver Dodge Ram pickup crossed the center line, ran off the roadway into a ditch and rolled over, landing on its roof.

The driver, 32-year-old Travis Tridle of Cicero, was pinned under the truck and died at the scene. No word yet if he was wearing his seatbelt.

No one else was in the car.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash. Toxicology tests are being run, per standard procedure in deadly crashes.
