Truck driver charged in June crash that killed Fall River police signal operator

A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was filed Friday against the driver of the tractor-trailer involved in the accident that killed a city employee on June 19. James Murray, 31, of 301 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton, is scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 5 in District Court. The charge is a misdemeanor that carries a possible sentence of two years in custody.
