San Bernardino County, CA : Young woman dies, another motorist is injured in traffic accident in Fontana on Tuesday, August 16, 2016

A 22-year-old Fontana woman was killed in a traffic accident in Fontana on Aug. 16, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division.

At 9:45 p.m., Clarissa Galarza Anaya was driving a Chevrolet Aveo southbound on Cherry Avenue, just north of Valley Boulevard.

A Dodge Ram driven by a male motorist traveling northbound on Cherry struck Galarza Anaya’s vehicle.
Galarza Anaya was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 11:14 p.m.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was also transported for medical attention, according to the Fontana Police Department.

In addition, a third vehicle collided with the Dodge Ram. The driver of that vehicle was uninjured, the Fontana P.D. said.
