SANFORD, NC : Two people died in Harnett County on May, Tuesday, 23rd 2017

Two people died Tuesday night in Harnett County after the Jeep they were in flipped and caught on fire.

WTVD reported that Sybil Michelle Johnson, 36, of Sanford, was thrown out of the 2000 Jeep she was driving after it crossed the center line, went off the road and hit a ditch, flipping over and bursting into flames. Johnson was pinned underneath the SUV, while a man in the passenger's seat, who has not yet been identified, was trapped inside. Johnson and the man died.
