MOSES LAKE, WA : Pedestrian, 21, killed by car south of Moses Lake on Wednesday, 14th September 2016

The Washington State Patrol says a 21-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed south of Moses Lake in Grant County.

The patrol says a 17-year-old girl was driving northbound on State Route 17 Tuesday night when a pedestrian ran into the road.

The pedestrian was struck and killed. He died at the scene. He was identified Wednesday as Blake Hellman, of Wilson Creek.

The patrol says no charges are expected in the case.
