Brainerd, MN : Motorcycle crash injures woman on Saturday, August 5, 2017

A Brainerd woman was injured Saturday when she attempted to slow down on the Harley-Davidson motorcycle she was operating to avoid a semitrailer in front of her on Business Highway 371 in Brainerd.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Jodi P. Imgrund, 42, was heading south on Highway 371 near Buffalo Hills Lane East, when the crash occurred at 5:53 p.m. When Imgrund attempted to avoid the semitrailer her motorcycle laid down, the state patrol reported. It was raining and the roadway was wet at the time.

Imgrund, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Brainerd Police Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
