Ford Heights, IL : Man killed in Ford Heights crash in the 1300 block of Ellis Avenue in Ford Heights on Saturday, 29th September 2018

A 32-year-old woman was killed in a crash early Saturday in south suburban Ford Heights.

Officers were called at 1:11 a.m. for reports of the crash in the 1300 block of Ellis Avenue in Ford Heights and arrived to find Saffia Hussain inside a Dodge Neon with “extensive damage,” according to statement from the Cook County sheriff’s and medical examiner’s offices.

Hussain, who lived in Sauk Village, was taken to Franciscan Health in Dyer, Indiana, before being transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, authorities said. She was pronounced dead nearly 6 hours after the crash.
