One dead, two hospitalized after motorcycle chase ends in crash in Texas

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 40-year-old Michael Wayne Richardson of Duncanville was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident Sunday after leading Canton police on a chase.Police say Richardson was attempting to evade officers by driving westbound on Interstate 20 near Canton when his motorcycle struck an SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The SUV was occupied by 47-year-old Steven Ross Rodgers and 46-year-old Gail Amelia Adams, both of Mesquite. Rodgers and Adams were taken to Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler. They were released Monday afternoon.
