TOLEDO, OH : Car crashes into TARTA bus during police pursuit in east Toledo, 5 people injured on Thursday, 11th April 2024

Five people were injured when a car fleeing from police crashed into a TARTA bus in east Toledo Thursday night.

At about 9:41 p.m., Toledo police were pursuing a car, driven by Anthony Morgan, 39, traveling west on Navarre Avenue near Oak Street. A TARTA bus traveling north on Oak Street was moving through the intersection when the driver of the car ran the red light and struck the bus.
