BIRCH TREE, MO : 13-year-old from Birch Tree, Mo., injured in crash on Thursday, 30th May 2024

One child and four teenagers from Howell County are in the hospital after a crash near Birch Tree.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened on County Road 459. Deputies say a car driven by a 15-year-old ran off the right side of the road and rolled.

A 13-year-old girl was thrown from the car. She was taken to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.

The other children are being treated in area hospitals with minor injuries.
