SAHUARITA, AZ : A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car in the southern Arizona town of Sahuarita on Saturday, November, 11th 2017

Authorities say a pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car in the southern Arizona town of Sahuarita.

Sahuarita police say officers responded to the scene Saturday night just east of Nogales Highway.

First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

The name and age of the dead person haven’t been released yet.

Sahuarita police say the crash remains under investigation.
