WICHITA, KS : 2 seriously injured in crash on highway K-96 on Friday, 8th September 2023

The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) confirmed two people are seriously injured after a crash on K-96, Friday.

KHP said it happened just after 6 p.m. when the two were traveling westbound on K-96 in a Mercedes Benz, near Webb road, when they were hit from behind by a person driving a Toyota Tundra. Both vehicles involved left the road to the right and came to a stop.

Two people driving in the Mercedes were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was said to have minor injuries.
