Holliston, MA : Woman injured in Holliston crash dies of injuries on Wednesday, December 23, 2015

A 57-year-old woman who was injured after a car struck her on Washington Street on Wednesday has died of her injuries, MetroWest Daily News reported Saturday.

Karen Evers-Pecci, of Holliston, was treated at UMass Medical Center on Wednesday after a car, driven by a 53-year-old man from Deerfield Beach, Florida, hit her.

It was not clear if Evers-Pecci was in a crosswalk on Washington Street, said Holliston Police in a statement.

Evers-Pecci died of her injuries on Thursday, Dec. 24, at 5:07 p.m., according to the statement.

No charges have been filed and no further information was immediately available.
