Rocklede , FL : Three killed and Four others injured in Multi Vehicle Crash along Interstate 95 on Sunday , January 4th 2015
Three people were killed and four others were seriously injured in a multivehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Rockledge Sunday.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. near the South Fiske Boulevard exit.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said all four of the vehicles involved were heading northbound on I-95 when 39-year-old Leonardo Alvarez-Savageau of Massachusetts, drove his Infiniti off the roadway and hit a guardrail and median.
Alvarez-Savageau’s car then collided head-on with a Hyundai Elantra driven by Kay Ferril, 64.
A third vehicle rear-ended Ferril and a fourth was struck with flying debris from the collisions.
Ferril, of Rockledge, and two passengers in the Elantra, Willie Morgagne, 66, and Rose Neal, 56, both from Cocoa, were killed.
A female passenger in Ferril’s car and a female passenger in Alvarez-Savageau’s Infiniti were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Alvarez-Savageau and another one of his passengers were taken to Wuesthoff Hospital in serious condition.
