Kalamazoo County, MI : Centreville women dies in crash in Kalamazoo County on Sunday, 29th July 2018

A Centreville woman was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Kalamazoo County.
Sheriff’s deputies said the crash occurred at the intersection of 14th Street. A vehicle driven by Wyatt Thomas Hardy, 18, of Vicksburg, rear-ended a vehicle carrying Jamie Larae Jourdan, 50, and her husband, Bill, 44, of Centreville. She died at the scene, and he sustained serious injuries.
Hardy also received serious injuries in the crash. Both men were taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo
Authorities said police had seen the Hardy vehicle being driven “carelessly” in Schoolcraft. An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but because of high speed, was not able to catch up until coming upon the crash.
