STATEN ISLAND, NY : Multi-car crash in New Springville sends 3 to hospital on Sunday, 22nd April 2018

Three individuals were transported to the hospital Sunday following a multi-vehicle crash in New Springville.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash at about 1:23 p.m. on Richmond Avenue, near Independence Avenue, according to an FDNY spokesman.

Three people sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, the spokesman said.

Police set up road flares on Richmond Avenue, near a white SUV with a smashed windshield and damage to the front end.
