A driver crashed into a utility pole just northeast of uptown Charlotte early Thursday morning.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. on Atando Avenue near N Graham Street, closing the road for a time.
Medic took the driver to Carolinas Medical Center.
There's no word on what caused the car to crash into the pole.
No serious injuries were reported.
