Salt Lake City, UT : Four people injured after school bus collision with SUV in Weber County on Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2016

Four students were injured when a school bus and an SUV collided on Thursday afternoon in Weber County, the sheriff's office reported.

The two occupants in the SUV, male students from Fremont High School, suffered serious injuries, said Weber County sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay. He said two students on the bus, a 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries.

The bus was carrying 34 students from Wahlquist Junior High in Farr West as it traveled east on 1800 South just after 3 p.m., when the southbound SUV on 3500 West failed to stop at a stop sign and went into the path of the bus, Findlay said.
