Saint Cloud,MN : Foley woman injured in crash on Highway 23 on December, Sunday 17th 2017

A Foley woman was hurt in a two-car crash in Benton County on Sunday.

Amanda Elizabeth Strang, 33, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries that are not to believed to be life-threatening after a crash on 25th Avenue at Minnesota Highway 23.

Gary Wayne Slaamod, 52, of Sauk Rapids, was driving a pickup on 25th Avenue when, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, he failed to check for cross traffic and struck Strang's vehicle on Highway 23.

The crash took place shortly before 4:30 p.m., according to the incident report. Slaamod was not injured.
