A Rome woman was injured in a three-car accident on Monday afternoon.

Ginny Bromley, 24, was driving west on State Route 365 in Rome near the Route 825 ramp when she lost control of her vehicle, clipping a car driven by Brenda Clance, 66, of Rome, before hitting another vehicle driven by John Crossley, of Holland Patent, head on, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Bromley was taken by Amcare Ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital for evaluation of a minor leg injury, deputies said. Clance and Crossley did not sustain injuries, deputies said.

Bromley was issued tickets including unsafe speed, aggravated unlicensed operator, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, deputies said. All tickets are returnable to Rome City Court at a later date.

The Rome police and fire departments assisted at the scene.
