Helena, MT : Pedestrian dies when struck by pickup on Lincoln Road early Sunday morning, Nov 1, 2015

A 45-year-old East Helena man was struck and killed while walking along Lincoln Road north of Helena.

Lewis and Clark County Coroner Mickey Nelson tells the Independent Record that Mick Halverson was struck by a pickup truck shortly after midnight Saturday. He died at the scene.

Nelson says Halverson was walking alone. The collision is still being investigated.

The 19-year-old man driving the pickup was not injured.
