West Valley City ,UT : Car fatally strikes man changing tire in West Valley City; victim's wife critically injured on July 2nd 2015

Authorities say a man was killed while changing a tire and two others hurt when a car crashed in West Valley City.

The Standard-Examiner reported (http://bit.ly/1LL0Zg3) Friday that the Utah Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Anthony Lopez lost control of his car before the Thursday night crash.

According to the UHP, 51-year-old Graham Ambrose, of Sandy, was getting tools out of his car trunk when a speeding vehicle crashed into him and his car.

Patrol officers say the impact threw Ambrose 200 feet.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
