Boulder County, CO : Police chase leads to Boulder County crash on Thursday, 12th March, 2020
A vehicle fleeing from law enforcement reportedly caused a crash in Boulder County on Thursday.
According to a release, Boulder police tried to pull over a vehicle for speeding in north Boulder at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, but the vehicle sped off north on Diagonal Highway.
About 10 minutes later Boulder County Sheriff’s Office deputy saw the vehicle, a 2007 gray Volvo, westbound on Lookout Road near 95th Street. As the deputy turned around and began to follow it, the driver turned northbound on U.S. 287 and attempted to elude the deputy.
The vehicle ran a red light at U.S. 287 and Colo. 52, hitting a Subaru Forester traveling eastbound through the intersection.
The driver of the Subaru Forester, a 28-year-old Boulder man, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.
