Falmouth, MA : Falmouth police officer seriously injured in head-on cruiser crash on Teaticket Highway on Saturday night, June 27, 2015

A Falmouth Police officer was seriously injured in a head-on collision Saturday night.

The cruiser, driven by Officer Richard Bradley, collided with a car driven by a 91-year-old woman on Teaticket Highway at around 9:40 p.m., Falmouth Police said.

Bradley was taken by medical helicopter to a Boston-area hospital. The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to Falmouth Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
