EDGERTON, WI : Fatal crash on I-39 NB near Edgerton on Wednesday, 7th November 2018

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-39 NB near Edgerton on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash happened on the westbound lanes at mile marker 165 around 3:50 a.m.

Dane County Dispatch said the crash involved a semi-truck and a pedestrian with a disabled vehicle.

Officials said the pedestrian had a left rear flat tire and was outside his vehicle when he was struck by the passing semi.

According to the release, assisting agencies include Edgerton Fire Department, Edgerton EMS, Janesville Paramedic, Rock Co. Sheriff and the Rock County Coroner.
