A motorcyclist from Saluda has died after a crash in Greenwood County on Monday, according to the coroner’s office.
Troopers said the collision was reported shortly after 9 p.m. Monday on SC-246 south at Tillman Territory Road.
According to a release from coroner Sonny Cox, a motorcycle ran off the right shoulder of the road and crashed.
The driver is identified as Thomas Jack Price, 54, of Saluda. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma.
His death was ruled an accident.
No other vehicles were involved.
The crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenwood County Coroner’s Office..
