CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC : Chesterfield County crash leaves one dead on Sunday, 19th May 2024

One person is dead after a crash in Chesterfield County Sunday morning.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Bear Creek Road at Evans Mill Road. That’s about six miles south of Chesterfield.
Troopers said a 2008 Pontiac was heading west on Bear Creek Road, went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
The driver of the Pontiac was the only person inside the car when the crash happened. The driver died on the scene.
The victim’s name has not yet been released by the Chesterfield County Coroner’s Office.
