BOCA RATON, FL : Rollover crash on Powerline near Southwest 18th Street on Monday, 25th November, 2019

A 51-year-old Pompano Beach man died early Monday after his car struck a tree and rolled over in suburban Boca Raton, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue declared Wilfried Bien-Amie dead at the scene, PBSO said.

The crash took place just before 5:45 a.m. on Powerline near Southwest 18th Street.

The man’s 2014 Dodge Charger was northbound on Powerline when its front driver’s side tire struck the roadway’s median, PBSO said. The driver lost control of the car, and it drove onto the grass and began to spin clockwise.
