Brownsville, TX : Traffic stalled by multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 1, 2017

An accident involving an overturned delivery truck and several other vehicles shut down the southbound lanes of the expressway near Morrison Road this afternoon.
The Gulf Coast Paper Company truck flipped onto the driver's side on the 4300 block of the Expressway 77 frontage road. A black Pontiac sedan appears to have struck a vehicle and then was hit from behind.
Several people have been injured.
Brownsville police are asking drivers to find alternate routes and to stay off the frontage road and expressway between Alton Gloor and Morrison Road.
