Grand Haven, MI : Victim identified in fatal crash in Grand Haven Township at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Comstock Street on Monday, 15th July 2019

The victim of a fatal crash last week in Grand Haven Township was identified early Monday afternoon as 59-year-old Ellen Eddleman of Spring Lake.Eddleman died after her car collided with a semi-truck Thursday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Comstock Street.

The Ottawa County Sheriff investigation revealed that Eddleman was driving a 2004 Infinity SUV south on U.S. 31 and attempted to make a turn east onto Comstock Street at about 3:15 p.m. Her car went into the path of a semi-tractor/trailer that was northbound on U.S. 31 with a green light.

The SUV rolled over after impact and Eddleman was ejected during the rollover. An Ottawa County medical examiner pronounced her dead at the scene.
