APACHE JUNCTION, AZ : Driver sought in connection with deadly hit-and-run on US 60 in Apache Junction on Sunday, 16th July 2023

A 45-year-old man from Peoria has turned himself into authorities after the Arizona Department of Public Safety says he was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Apache Junction Sunday morning.

DPS officials say the crash happened at about 7:40 a.m. on US 60 eastbound near the Meridian Road off-ramp.

Troopers say Robert Moyer was seen driving a white single-cab dually flatbed pickup truck with black rails.

Moyer was arrested Monday and faces charges that include leaving the scene of a deadly crash.
